Kuika's project-based user management area allows you to manage the roles and access permissions of users in your projects in detail. It helps you identify the users of the project, customize their authorizations and manage your project processes more efficiently. In this course, you will learn how to manage users in your projects.

Add Users in Different Roles to Your Project

Follow the steps below to add users in different roles to your project:

After logging into the Kuika platform, go to the "Apps" screen.
Then click on the three dots next to your project to add a role to a user.

Select "Edit".
Go to the "Share" tab on the pop-up that opens.

Add the desired user via the "Add User" drop-down list.

Each added user is automatically added with the Viewer role.

You can add one of the following roles by clicking on the drop-down menu to the right of the user name you added:

Viewer: The basic user role assigned by the application owner, who can only view the project.
Developer: This is the developer role assigned by the application owner to workspace members. This role can use Datasources, Workflow, Schedules Jobs, Configuration Manager modules.
Designer: It is the designer role assigned by the application owner to the members of the workspace. It can only view Datasources, Workflow, Scheduled Jobs, Configuration Manager modules.

You can assign new roles to members in your project by following these steps.

Share Your Project with the Workspace

Follow the steps below to share your project with your workspace:

After logging in to the Kuika platform, go to the "Apps" screen.
Then click on the three dots next to your project to add a role for a user.

Select "Edit".
Go to the "Share" tab on the pop-up that opens.

Select "Everyone in workspace" from the Public Access drop-down menu.

Public Access comes with “Restricted" status by default. This status means that the application can only be viewed by shared users. When “Everyone in workspace" is selected, the application can be viewed by all workspace members.

You can share your project with the workspace by following these steps.

Delete User From Your Project

Follow the steps below to delete a user from your project:

After logging into the Kuika platform, go to the "Apps" screen.
Then click on the three dots next to your project to add a role to a user.

Select "Edit".
Go to the “Share" tab on the pop-up that opens.

Select "Remove User" from the drop-down menu next to the user name you want to delete.

You can delete users from your project by following these steps.

Transfer a Project You Own

Follow the steps below to transfer a project you own to another user:

After logging into the Kuika platform, go to the "Apps" screen.
Turn on the "Enable workspace authorization" switch in the upper left corner.
Click on the three dots next to the project you want to transfer.

4. Select "Transfer Ownership".

From the pop-up that opens, enter the name or e-mail address of the user to whom you will transfer your project and select their role.
Then click on the "CONFIRM OWNERSHIP TRANFER" button.

By following these steps, you can transfer your project to the user you want.
