Action Tree is the panel that hierarchically groups and lists all actions (system actions and custom actions) on the screen. It is possible to see the elements to which the actions are added under the actions in the list structure in this panel.
You can access the Action Tree panel from the relevant tab on the left panel in the UI Design module. You can see the actions in a list and you can easily add each action to your screen designs with drag-and-drop method.
Using the Action Tree Panel
1. Drag and Drop Functionality:
You can integrate actions from the Action Tree into your screen designs in seconds by dragging and dropping them onto the Canvas.
Next to the actions are icons that indicate the feasibility of drag-and-drop. The icons provide guidance on how the actions can be used on the Canvas.
2. Modal Options and Appearance:
When you add an action to Canvas, a Modal screen usually opens. From this Modal screen, you can determine how the action will look.
For example:
Table: The action can be displayed as a list screen.
Form: The action can be organized using a form structure.
These options can be active or passive depending on the function of the action.
Example Usage:
When you drag and drop the Add User To Role action onto the Canvas, the Form and Input fields appear active in the pop-up screen.
This is because this action is designed to assign a role to a user. This cannot be done on a list screen; it can only be done on a form screen.
3. Design Settings
Layout Design Area:
You can use the Layout Design area to determine the layout of your screen designs. Here you can:
Select a single-column or two-column structure.
After completing your design, click the CREATE button to complete the creation.
Process Automation and Business Object Requirements:
If you want to create form structures using Process Automation, you must define at least one Process Automation process in your application.
In addition, there must be a Business Object structure within this process.
In order to create a form structure on the panel using Process Automation system actions, you need to create at least one Process Automation in the application you developed. There must be a Business Object structure in the Process you create.
For more information about Process Automation and Business Objects, see the related document.
System Actions:
When you drag and drop actions related to Process Automation to the Canvas, the Modal screen does not open. Instead, these actions are automatically added in accordance with certain standards.
Working Efficiently with Action Tree:
The Action Tree panel streamlines users' design process by increasing functionality in application design. While simplifying complex operations thanks to the drag-and-drop feature of actions, it automates your business processes with Process Automation and Business Object integration.
