Global Configuration

Global Configuration

In Kuika, Global Configuration are configurations that apply across the application and are available to all workspaces. These configurations are used to ensure consistency across application projects. Management operations are performed with Kuika's Configuration Manager tool. In this training content, the steps to create and configure Global Configuration are explained.

Add Global Configuration to your App

Follow the steps below to create a new Global Configuration:

  1. Log in to the Kuika platform.
  1. Click on the Global Configuration option on the left panel.
  2. On the screen that opens, give a name to the configuration and click the CREATE button.

At the end of these steps, a new Global Configuration will be added to your app.

Configure Global Configurations via App Settings

developed in Kuika. The following describes the main sections of the App Settings tab:

CONNECTION SETTINGS

  • DB Connection String: String containing the server address, database name, username and password to connect to the database.
  • Engine Base URL: The main URL used to access your application's API.
  • Mail Provider: Used for in-app email sending and receiving functions.
  • Workflow Engine Connection String: Connection string for Workflow Engine integration.

AUTHENTICATION & AUTHORIZATION

  • Authentication Provider: The service used to authenticate the user.
  • Password Policy: Determines password length, complexity and frequency of change.
  • Google, Facebook, MSAL: Login with Google, Facebook and Microsoft accounts.
  • OTP: One-time password (used for two-factor authentication).
  • 2F Auth: Enables two-factor authentication.
  • 2 Auth Duration: validity period of the OTP or security code (verification by SMS every 15 days).

MAIL / PROVIDER

  • Provides in-app email sending, receiving, storage and management infrastructure.

PAYMENT METHOD

  • You can configure the platforms used for in-app payment processing:
    • Stripe: Global platform for online payment processing.
    • Iyzico: Online payment platform based in Turkey.

INVERS CLOUDBOXX

  • You can define configuration for Invers Cloudboxx integration, a cloud-based management and automation platform.

Web Settings

  • SESSIONS: Sets the users' web application session timeout period.
  • GOOGLE MAPS: You can configure the necessary settings for map usage in the web app.

iOS Settings

  • APPLE SIGN IN SETTINGS: You can configure login settings with Apple accounts.
  • APP STORE SETTINGS: Sets the necessary settings for App Store integration.
  • FIREBASE SETTINGS: Integrates Firebase services into the application.
  • PUSH NOTIFICATIONS: You can define the permission text to be shown to end users for push notifications.

Android Settings

  • MOBILE APP SETTINGS: You can configure the app name, Bundle ID, version information and minimum Android version to be used in the Play Store.
  • PLAY STORE SETTINGS: Sets the settings required to connect the app to the Play Store.
  • MAPS: You can configure the use of maps in the Android app.
  • PUSH NOTIFICATIONS: You can define the permission text to be shown to end users for push notifications.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your app works consistently across all platforms.
