Recurring Actions

Kuika's Recurring Actions feature allows you to easily define recurring tasks and actions. This feature is ideal for operations such as periodic database updates, notifications, reporting, data backup and system checks. In this course, you will learn how to use Recurring Actions.

Recurring Actions Panel Parameters

  • Interval (Seconds) (Int32-One): Determines how often the action will be repeated, in seconds.
  • Trigger On Page Init: Triggers a specific action when the page is initialized.
  • Actions: It is used to add the action or actions to be executed.

Define Repeated Tasks with Recurring Actions

  1. Log in to the Kuika platform and open your project from the Apps screen.
  2. Open the Properties panel on the right side in the UI Design module.
  3. Click Recurring Actions from the+ ADD ACTION drop-down menu.
  1. In the Interval field, specify how often the action will be repeated, in seconds.

Only predefined values can be selected in the Interval field. Manual time setting is not supported.

Trigger Action with Trigger On Page Init

  1. From the + ADD ACTION menu, enable the Trigger On Page Init option.
  2. This setting ensures that the specified action is automatically triggered when the page is started.

Adding an Action

  1. Click the + ADD ACTION button next to the Actions section in the Recurring Actions panel.
  2. Select and add the action or actions that will run recurrently.
