Deeplink is a feature that allows users to directly access specific content in your app via a link. Using the Deeplink settings in Kuika’s Config Manager module, you can configure the necessary settings to direct users to the target content in your app.
Deeplink settings are available only in mobile apps.
Deeplink Setup Steps
1. Open or Create a Configuration
Log in to the Kuika platform.
From the Apps screen, open the mobile project you’ll be working on.
Click the Config Manager module in the top menu.
To create a new configuration, click the Create a blank configuration card, give the configuration a name, and complete the creation process. If you want to use an existing configuration, click its name in the list.
2. Configure Deeplink Settings
Make sure the App Settings tab is selected at the top of the configuration screen.
In the left menu, click the Deeplink Settings option under the OPERATIONS heading. You can also quickly access this setting by typing “deeplink” into the Search settings field at the top of the menu.
Click the Add New link under the Configuration section.
In the Deeplink Settings window that opens, fill in the following fields:
Name (required): The descriptive name to be given to the configuration.
Associated Domain (required): The main domain name to be associated with your app (e.g., app.kuika.com).
Associated Subdomain: A specific subdomain under the main domain name (e.g., academy.app.kuika.com).
After filling in all fields, click the Create button.
Select the configuration you created from the Configuration dropdown menu.
Click the Save button in the top-right corner to save your changes. (In an existing configuration, this button appears as Update.)
3. Test the Settings
Click the three dots next to the Preview button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Click the Run option from the dropdown menu.
Once the process is complete, the app will appear in a new browser tab along with a Header.
After setting up Deeplink settings, the platform automatically generates a QR code for the relevant content.
By following these steps, you can easily configure Deeplink settings on the Kuika platform and provide quick access to target content via a QR code.
