Google Sign In

Google Sign In

The Google Sign In feature in Kuika's Configuration Manager module allows you to securely and quickly log in to your application using Google accounts. You can easily configure all the settings required to enable this feature through Configuration Manager. With Google Sign In, you can improve the user experience, speed up the login process and provide a secure authentication method.

Google Sign In Settings

  1. After logging in to the Kuika platform, open the project you will work on from the “Apps” screen.
  1. Then click on the “Configuration Manager” module.
  2. From the screen that opens, give the configuration a name (1) and click on the “CREATE” (2) button.
  1. Go to the Authentication & Authorization tab.
  1. Click on the drop-down menu opposite the Google title.
  2. Select ADD NEW from the drop-down menu.
  1. In the Google Login Setting pop-up screen that opens:
  • Name: Name the Google login setting with a descriptive name.
  • Client ID and Client Secret: OAuth information required for web applications.
  • Server Client ID and Server Client Secret: OAuth information required for server operations.
  • iOS URL Scheme: URL scheme to be used on iOS devices.

Google Console Operations to Access Required Information

Follow the steps below to obtain the information required for Google login settings:

  1. Sign in to Google Console: Go to Google Cloud Console.
  2. Create New Project:
    • If you have not created a project before, click on the Create Project button.
    • Complete the creation by giving the project a name.
  3. Create Credentials:
    • After your project becomes active, go to APIs & Services > Credentials tab from the left menu.
    • Click the Create Credentials button and select the OAuth Client ID option from the drop-down menu.
  4. Create OAuth Client ID Types:
    • Web Application: Creates Client ID and Secret for web applications.
    • Android: Creates Client ID and Secret for Android devices.
    • iOS: Creates Client ID and URL Scheme for iOS devices.

You can find the following information in each OAuth Client ID you create:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Server Client ID
  • Server Client Secret
  • iOS URL Scheme

5. Add İnformation to Kuika

Enter the information you received from Google Console in the relevant fields on the Google Login Setting pop-up screen in Kuika.

6. Complete Settings

After filling in all the required fields, click the CREATE button to create the Google Sign In settings.

By following these steps, you can successfully complete the Google Sign In integration for your app.
