TESTING THE APPLICATION

Test operations in TestFlight

With Kuika, you can test an application you have developed for the iOS operating system on Testflight.

At this point, you first need to have an Apple Developer account.

  1. Open your App Developer account.
  2. Click on Identifiers.
  3. On the screen that opens, click the + icon next to Identifiers.
  4. Select APP IDs. Then click Continue.
  5. Select App.
  6. On the Register, an App ID screen, fill in the Description and Bundle ID fields and click Continue.
  7. You must verify the App ID created with Confirm your App ID. Click the Register button for this.
  8. Then click the + icon on the Apps screen and create a new App.
  9. Next, enter the information for Platforms, Name, Primary Language, Bundle ID, SKU, and User Access.
  10. It is important to note that the Bundle ID cannot be changed again.
  11. Now click on the Create button.
  12. Back to the platform.
  13. Open the iOS tab in Configuration Manager view mode.
  14. Fill in the App Name, Bundle ID, and Version information requested in the iOS tab, consistent with the information you entered in your developer account.
  15. Then click ADD NEW under the App Store Settings heading.
  16. Fill in the information on the App Store Connect Api Setting screen in line with your app and developer account information.
  17. Select Testflight from the Publish Type heading and click the Create button.
  18. Then click on the rocket icon in the Header, select the relevant configuration against iOS, and click Publish.
  19. You will be notified by email that the app has been submitted to Testflight and approved.
  20. To add people to test your app, open App Store Connect.
  21. Navigate to the relevant app screen.
  22. Open the Testflight tab.
  23. You can add your own test team as Testers with the Internal Testing option on the left panel.
  24. If you enable automatic deployment in Internal Testing, your test team will have access to the app every time you submit it for testing.
  25. With External Testing, you can open your app for testing for people outside your team.
  26. When opening your app for testing to an external team, the Apple team will review your app.  Apple will provide a notification after the review.
  27. After all these processes, you can test your app through the Testflight app installed on your mobile device.
