EMAIL DESIGN

Email builder basics

With Kuika, you can quickly and easily prepare and send emails for end users in the applications you develop. You can use one of the dozens of email templates offered by Kuika in your email preparation process, or you can open an empty email template and prepare your own template specifically for your needs.

Open the Email Builder module in the platform to prepare Email notifications for end users.

On the screen that opens, you will be greeted with the screen for adding a new Email Design and the Set Password, Verify Email, Reset Password and Task Notification templates created by Kuika by default and needed by almost every application.

But if you need a different email, you can add a new one. When adding a new email, you will be greeted with dozens of editable email templates ready to use by Kuika. For example, you can choose one of the design templates suitable for various needs, such as a discount mail design for an e-commerce application, a celebration mail design for your employees on special occasions, or a newsletter email design.

If you don't want to use these templates and want to create your own email design, you can create an Email template from scratch.

In the Email design process, you can carry out the process in a drag and drop structure just like in the UI Design module. You can add parameters on the template to work with dynamic data in the Email template you create.

To add a parameter, you need to add a parameter in the @parameter format to the field you want to dynamically pull data from. For example, in a birthday celebration mail, if you want to dynamically pull the name of the person from data sources, you can define @name in the name field.

In order to define the parameter values you added, you can return to the UI Design module and define parameter values through actions. By using the SendMail action from the system actions, you can perform the configurations and parameter definition operations for the email template you have created in the UI Design module.
