Creating Screens with CRUD

About this lesson

In this learning content, we will prepare the Department screens in the application together by using the CRUD Wizard offered by Kuika. In this process, we will use our Department data table that we have created before.

If you are ready, we can start.

  1. Open the Screens panel in the web application.
  2. Click the New Screen button on the panel to create a new screen.
  3. Open the Crud Wizard tab on the Modal screen and select ManageDB as Datasource and Department as Table.
  4. Leave the form screen type in the default Drawer selection. You can also select Modal or Current in the scenario you need.
  5. In the Layout field, you can leave the default options as they are predefined. Again in this field, you can update the selections according to your needs and device type.
  6. Then leave all options selected in the Options field.
  7. If you want to update the screen naming, provide the relevant update and click the CREATE button.

After a few seconds of loading, the CRUD screens will be listed in the Screens panel.

  1. Now open the Master Screen we created earlier.
  2. Select the menu item that will open the Department screen.
  3. Update the screen that will open under the Navigate action in the Properties panel with the Department Listing screen you created with CRUD.
  4. Now open the Department Listing screen and delete the menu icon in the Header.
  5. Click on a space on the screen.
  6. Select Master Screen via the Properties panel.

With these operations, we prepared a sample screen design together by working with CRUD within the scope of this learning content.
