In order to publish the web applications you have developed or upload them to test environments, the configurations in the App Settings tab in the Configuration Manager module must be defined correctly. App Settings contains many important settings that you will need for your application. Let's take a closer look at these settings.
The first configuration we need to examine in App Settings is the Connection Settings section. There are three basic settings here:
DB Connection String is the field where you need to define the Database connection string.
Backend URL is the setting where you need to specify the URL where you will take the backend of your application live or send it to the test environment.
These two configurations are crucial for taking your application live or sending it to the test environment.
The third setting in this section is the File Upload Path configuration setting, which defines the directory and path where the files to be uploaded to the application will be stored. With this setting, you can specify the storage location used for file uploads, ensuring that files are stored in an organized and secure manner.
The Workflow Settings section is where you will configure the process automations in your application. Through this section, for the process automations in your application:
Through the Search Service section, you can define configurations for performing data search and management operations in your application.
In the Authentication and Authorization section, you can define the authentication provider you will use in your application. By default, Kuika provides an authentication provider as a default for you. On this provider, you can set password policies that suit your needs and business requirements. Also, you can perform the necessary integration to enable the login feature with Google in this section. Similarly, you can manage the login feature with Facebook. You can also easily integrate Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) in this section.
If you want to use a one-time password (OTP) in your app, you can also configure OTP settings here. Finally, you can enable or disable the two-step authentication method as needed. You can manage the timing of two-factor authentication.
You can use the Expire Old Sessions Upon New Login Switch to ensure that old sessions are automatically terminated when a user logs in with the same account in different locations.
You can manage the schedule settings of Notify Actions in your app through the Notify Actions section
To send e-mails, you need to make the necessary settings for your e-mail provider in the Mail section. In this section, you can select either SMTP or AWS provider and complete the process by defining the information of the relevant provider.
To enable payment integrations in your app, you will need to go to the Payment Method section and select the payment infrastructure you want to use. If you prefer one of the payment providers such as Stripe, Iyzico or Param, you can make the configuration settings for the relevant provider in this section to ensure that the payment transactions take place properly. You can integrate the payment infrastructure into your application by entering the API keys and other configuration settings required for each provider.
Through Invers configuration you can integrate Invers telematics into your application.
Through the Whatsapp Business section, you can integrate Whatsapp Business into your app using the developer information you received from Whatsapp.
You can use the Google reCAPTCHA service provided by Google to protect your apps from spam and abuse. By defining your developer information in the Google reCAPTCHA section in the App Settings settings, you can increase the security of the applications you develop on the Kuika platform. With this integration, you can strengthen user verification processes and ensure that your app provides a more secure and reliable experience.
By configuring all these settings correctly, you can take an important step on the journey to publishing your app or uploading it to a test environment.
