Timeline elements are used to visually present events, tasks, or process steps in chronological order, along with date and status information, to help track the current stage of the process.
Kuika’s Timeline element allows events, tasks, or process steps to be visually presented to the user in chronological order. It can be used to show how a process is progressing, which steps have been completed, or events that occurred on specific dates in a clear and organized manner.
To get started, create the table on the screen using “New SQL Action” in the “Tables” section of the “Data Sources” module. First click the “Test” button, then click the “Create” button to save it. To use this element, first add your action to the page. Drag and drop the “Timeline” element onto your page. In the “Options” section—where action links and data binding are configured—set the appropriate property mappings. Select the appropriate “Mode” to specify how the “Timeline” data will be displayed on the screen.
When the application is tested, the permission request process is displayed step-by-step and in chronological order on the Timeline. At each step, the process title, description, and date are presented together. The current status of the process is highlighted with colored indicators, allowing the user to clearly track which stage the permission request is in and view previous steps all on a single screen.
