The “Rate” element is a visual rating element that allows users to rate content, a service, or an experience on a specific scale. Its design, which uses stars, icons, or similar visual indicators, enables users to provide ratings quickly and intuitively.
First, create the table on the screen from the “Tables” section in the “Data Sources” module. Then, drag a “Vertical Stack” element onto your page using “UI Design” and center it horizontally. Add an “Image” element inside it, upload your image via the “Value” field, and adjust its dimensions using the “Width” and “Height” fields in the “Styling” panel. Add a “Label” element below it. Update the text content in the “Value” field. Set the font to “Heading 3” in the “Style” field of the “Styling” panel. Add another “Label” element below it and make the same updates. Drag and drop a “Rate” element below it. Initially, set the “Rate” element’s value to “5” in the “Value” field. Depending on your scenario, set the “AllowHalf” setting to off. You can adjust the number of stars in the “Count” field. The default value will be “5.”
Drag and drop a “Text Area” element below the “Rate” element. Then, drag a “Button” element below that, type “Send” inside it, and use the “Add Action” button to add the “Save Record” action. In the action, select the “AppRate” table and all the columns below it. Configure the definitions for the fields that appear: “CreatedDate,” “Id,” “Description,” and “RatingValue.” To return to the home page after submission, select “Navigation” for the button, then choose your home page in the “Navigate” section that opens.
When the app is tested, you’ll see a screen where users can easily share their opinions and ratings using the star-rating field. After selecting a rating, the user can write their thoughts in the comment field and submit their feedback to the system by clicking the “Submit” button.
