Barcode Renderer Element: How Do You Use It?

The Barcode Renderer element is used to convert data—such as product, inventory, order, or ID information—into a barcode image in the selected format (e.g., Code 128) to facilitate easy scanning and automation.

Kuika’s Barcode Renderer element is a specialized visualization element used to generate and display barcodes in your applications. It supports fast scanning and automation processes by converting data—such as product, inventory, order, or identification information—into barcode format. Users can easily scan the barcode with any device camera or barcode scanner to instantly access the relevant information.

To get started, create the table on the screen using the “New SQL Action” option in the “Tables” section of the “Data Sources” module. First, click the “Test” button, then click “Create” to save it. First, add your action to the page using “Initial Action.” Then, add a “Label” element. Define the “Value” in the corresponding field. Next, drag the “Barcode Renderer” element below it. Configure the settings. Select the “Format” that best suits your scenario.

When the application is tested, a Code 128 barcode image is automatically generated for the selected product/record in the Barcode Renderer field and displayed on the screen. Below the barcode, the corresponding numerical value is also displayed as readable text, making verification easier.
