Whatsapp Business Settings

WhatsApp Business is a solution that enables businesses to communicate with their customers in a more efficient and professional way. You can manage message sending and customer interactions by configuring WhatsApp Business settings via Kuika Configuration Manager module.

How to Integrate WhatsApp Business API?

1. Define WhatsApp Business Account and Application Information

  • Go to Facebook for Developers and create a WhatsApp Business account.
  • Create an application (App) through Facebook Business.
  • Log in to the Kuika platform.
  • Open the project you will work on from the Apps screen.
  • Click on the Configuration Manager module.
  • On the screen that opens, give the configuration a name and click the CREATE button.
  • After creating a new configuration, open the App Settings screen.
  • Go to Connection Settings → Whatsapp Business.
  • Click on the Choose Configuration drop-down menu.
  • Select ADD NEW from the drop-down menu.
  • In the pop-up window that opens, configure the following settings:
    • Name: The name given to your WhatsApp Business account.
    • Account ID: The unique ID number that identifies your WhatsApp Business account. It must be the same for all WhatsApp configurations.
    • App ID: The unique ID of the app created through Facebook Business.
    • App Secret: A secret key used to secure your Facebook app.
    • Access Token: The verification key used to access the WhatsApp API. It can be purchased for a period of time or indefinitely. If it is temporary, messages cannot be sent when it expires.
    • Phone Number ID: The unique ID number of the phone number linked to your WhatsApp Business account.
    • Version Number: The version number of the WhatsApp Business API in use. It is important for compatibility with the current version.

2. Create a WhatsApp Message Template and Complete the Approval Process

3. Use WhatsApp Message Templates

  • When WhatsApp message templates are created via Facebook Business, parameters are set.
  • These parameters come to Kuika automatically and can be configured and sent messages here.

4. Template Types and Button Usage

There are different types of templates in the WhatsApp Business API:

  • Button Templates: Only available for steps with external assignment.
  • Templates without buttons: Can be used at any stage of the process.

Kuika currently only supports Quick Reply buttons. Other button types cannot be used.

5. Using Quick Reply

  • Buttons used to advance the process should be of Quick Reply (custom) type.
  • Each button must be mapped to a mail interaction.

By following these steps, you can complete WhatsApp Business integration on Kuika platform and manage your customer interactions effectively.
