Kuika's Terminate Process Instance action is used to terminate all active instances of a specific business process. Terminate Process Instance provides control of business processes and helps you manage the cancellation or completion of a specific process.
For example, if you want to terminate a process that has failed or has become redundant, you can use this action to stop the process completely.
With this action:
Terminates all instances of a specific business process.
Optimizes system resources by canceling unwanted or unnecessary processes.
Allows you to manage workflows in a cleaner and more organized way.
Prevents the continuation of processes that are faulty or need to be canceled.
Terminate Process Instance action is supported in web and mobile apps.
Add Terminate Process Instance Action
Log in to the Kuika platform.
Open the project you will work on from the Apps screen.
While in the UI Design module, open the Properties panel on the right side.
Select Initial Actions → Process Administration → Terminate Process Instance from the +ADD ACTION drop-down menu.
Then configure the following fields:
Process ID: Enter the unique ID number that identifies the business process to be terminated.
When this action is executed:
The specified process is terminated completely.
The process is canceled and can no longer be run.
Workflows are cleaned of unnecessary processes.
After completing these steps, the Terminate Process Instance action will have been successfully added. Thus, you can manage your workflows more efficiently by terminating unnecessary processes.
