Terminate Process Instance

The Terminate Process Instance action is an operation used to terminate or cancel a specific business process instance. This action can be invoked when the business process needs to be terminated due to an unexpected situation, error, or other reason.

The basic functionality of this action may include

  • Immediate Cancellation: The business process can be cancelled immediately due to an unexpected situation or when a certain condition occurs. This can be useful in situations where there is a problem that prevents the process from stopping immediately and moving forward.
  • Using Error Conditions: When a business process encounters a certain error condition or reaches a certain error level, the Terminate Process Instance action can terminate this process.
  • Using for Manual Intervention: When a business process needs a manual intervention or reaches a certain step, it can terminate the process for intervention by the user.

Select the element to add an action. Click +Add Action under the Properties panel.(A)

Click OnClick--> Process Administration-->Terminate Process Instance and add the Terminate Process Instance action.(A)

Click Symbol Picker (B) to fill in the parameters in the added action.

You can perform various operations for the added actions via Context Menu (C).

You can easily copy the action with the Copy option. Thus, you gain speed where action repetition is required.

With the Add Confirmation option, you can add a confirmation message for the action to work,

With Add Condition, you can determine that the action you add works in accordance with a certain condition,

You can easily delete the action added with the Remove option.
