Suspend Process Instance

The Suspend Process Instance action is an operation used to suspend or pause a business process instance. This action is used when there is a need to temporarily stop or suspend a process in certain situations. This action can also be used in processes that have not received an error in the process but receive a continuous notification of incorrect operation. In this way, it can be ensured that the wrong running instance is stopped.

The running process can only be Suspend.

The basic functionality of this action may include:

• Temporary Suspension: A particular instance of business process can be suspended due to an unexpected situation or when a certain condition occurs. In this case, the process will not resume, but may resume in the future.
• Allowing Time for Error Resolution: When an error occurs in a business process or a specific problem is waiting to be resolved, the Suspend Process Instance action can pause the process. This provides additional time to resolve the error.
• Allow Time for Manual Review: If a business process step needs to be reviewed manually or if a specific intervention is needed, suspending the process can allow this review to occur.

Select the element to add an action to. Click +Add Action under the Properties panel.(A)

Click OnClick-->Process Administration-->Retry Process Instance and add the Retry Process Instance action.(A)

Click Symbol Picker (B) to fill in the parameters in the added action.

You can perform various operations for the added actions via Context Menu (C).

You can easily copy the action with the Copy option. This way you will gain speed where action repetition is required.

With the Add Confirmation option, you can add a confirmation message for the action to work,

With Add Condition, you can specify that the action you add works in line with a certain condition,

With the Remove option you can easily delete the added action.
