Kuika's Open PDF action allows you to open PDF files on your device directly from your app. Users can quickly and easily view documents in PDF format. For example, if a user wants to review a manual or invoice attached to your app, this action opens the PDF file with the device's default PDF viewer.
Open PDF action is supported in web and mobile applications.
Add Open PDF Action
Log in to the Kuika platform.
Open the project you will work on from the Apps screen.
While in the UI Design module, open the Properties panel on the right side.
Select Initial Actions → Device → Open PDF from the +ADD ACTION drop-down menu.
Configure the following fields from the drop-down menu:
PDF URL: Specify the URL address of the PDF file to open.
Open As: Select in which page structure the PDF will be displayed. It can be set as Current Page or New Tab.
Complete the configuration process by clicking the SAVE button.
