Define the Action in UI Design

• Open your project on the Kuika platform.
• Go to the UI Design module and select the relevant screen.
• Create a button (e.g., “Disable Immobilizer”).

• Select the button and add the Invers → Invers Unlock Immobilizer Over Rest action from the + ADD ACTION menu according to the triggering event (Initial Actions, OnClick, etc.).

Configure Action Parameters

• Telematics ID (String - required): Enter the unique ID number linked to the vehicle's telematics system to specify which vehicle the immobilizer action should be performed on. This value can typically be defined as Action Result, Current, Form Component, Screen Input, or Fixed and can be linked via the Symbol Picker.

In a fleet management application, when the user wants to make the vehicle ready for use remotely, they click the “Disable Immobilizer” button on the mobile or web application. This process is performed via RESTful API using the unique ID number connected to the vehicle's telematics system. The Invers Unlock Immobilizer Over Rest action triggered by clicking the button removes the immobilizer lock via an internet connection, making the vehicle available for use. Add Immobilizer Disabling Action

• Enter the UI Design module and drag and drop a Button element from the Elements panel on the left side.
• In the Properties panel, enter “Disable Immobilizer” in the Label section of the button.
• Select the button and add the OnClick → Invers → Invers Unlock Immobilizer Over Rest action from the + ADD ACTION menu.

Technical Risks

• Invalid Telematics ID: Make sure that the Telematics ID you entered is registered and valid in the system.

• API Access Issues: Keep in mind that the action may not work if the internet connection and API service access are interrupted.
