Get Process Instance

The GetProcessInstance action is typically used to get information about an instance of a business process or an executing instance of a specific business process. It is the action that returns the started process or the process that the administrator has started by entering the ID information.

This action plays an important role in monitoring, managing and analyzing the business process. This action is used to get the current status of a specific business process. The business process status includes information such as what stage the process is in, which tasks have been completed and which are still pending. The general details of the business process are used to provide information such as the creation date of the process, the last update date, the priority status, etc. It can be used to get task related details such as the status of specific tasks of the business process, completion status, assigned users.

Select the element to add an action to. Click +Add Action under the Properties panel. (A)

Click OnClick --> Process Administration --> GetProcessInstance and add the GetProcessInstance action. (A)

Get Process Instance action comes with Process Id parameter.

  • Process ID represents a unique identification number of a business process.

Click Symbol Picker (B) to fill in the parameters in the added action.

You can perform various operations for the added actions via Context Menu (C).

You can easily copy the action with the Copy option. This way you will gain speed where action repetition is required.

With the Add Confirmation option, you can add a confirmation message for the action to work,

With Add Condition, you can specify that the action you add works in line with a certain condition,

With the Remove option you can easily delete the added action.
