File Upload Path Settings

File Upload Path is a setting that determines in which directory the uploaded files will be stored on the server. File Upload Path settings facilitate the management of file upload operations in your application. By configuring this setting in the Kuika Configuration Manager module, you can ensure that files are stored in a secure and organized manner.

How to Set File Upload Path Settings?

1. Add Configuration to Application

  • Log in to the Kuika platform.
  • Open the project you will work on from the Apps screen.
  • Click on the Configuration Manager module.
  • On the screen that opens, give the configuration a name and click CREATE.

2. Configure File Upload Path Settings

  • After creating a new configuration, open the App Settings screen.
  • Go to Connection Settings → File Upload Path.
  • Click the Default drop-down menu.
  • Select ADD NEW from the drop-down menu.
  • In the pop-up window that opens, configure the following settings:
    • Name: Name for the file upload setting.
    • File Upload Path: Specify the directory where uploaded files will be stored (e.g. /upload/user_documents/).

3. Test Settings

  • Click on the three dots next to the Preview button at the top of the application.
  • Click the RUN button from the menu that opens.
  • When the process is complete, check that the uploaded files are correctly stored in the specified directory.

After setting the File Upload Path settings, make sure that the files are stored in the specified directory by testing that the upload processes are working properly.

By following these steps, you can easily configure file upload settings on the Kuika platform and optimize the management of uploaded files.
