Firebase Settings

Firebase Settings allows you to manage the necessary configurations to enable the integration of your iOS app with Firebase. By configuring this setting in the Kuika Configuration Manager module, you can set up Firebase connectivity for your iOS app.

Mobile Application Creation

Before configuring Firebase settings, you need to create a mobile app:

  1. Log in to the Kuika platform.
  2. Click the New App button on the Apps screen.
  1. Enter a name for your app.
  2. Check the Mobile Compatible App option.
  3. Click the CREATE button to complete the process.

Configure Firebase Settings

  1. Open the App Settings screen.
  1. Go to the iOS section.
  2. Switch to the Firebase Settings tab.
  3. Click the ADD NEW button.
  1. In the pop-up window that opens, enter the following information.
    • Name: Enter a descriptive name for the Firebase settings. This will help you distinguish between different Firebase configurations in your project.
    • Notification Certificate: Install the APNs certificate required to be able to send notifications to iOS devices with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can only add the PLIST format file by clicking on the Choose button.

Test Settings

  1. Click on the three dots next to the Preview button at the top of the application.
  1. Click the RUN button from the menu that opens.
  2. Perform the test to verify that the Firebase connection was successful.

By following these steps, you can complete the Firebase integration for your iOS app.
