A radar chart is used to compare multidimensional data (e.g., competency/performance metrics) on a single profile; visual clarity is enhanced through the use of a legend, level color, and level frequency.
The Radar Chart allows you to analyze multidimensional data by plotting it along axes on a circle; from competency analysis to product comparisons, it makes sense of complex metrics in seconds by combining strengths and weaknesses into a single profile.
Start the process by creating an action using “New SQL Action” in the “Actions” section of the “Data Sources” area. After creating the action, click the “Test” button and save it by clicking “Create.” Switch to the “UI Design” area and add the action to the page using “Initial Action.”
Drag a Label element onto the page; type the title in the “Value” field, set it to “Heading 2” in the “Style” section of the “Styling” panel, and center it horizontally and vertically in the “Layout” section. Add a Panel element below it; set the horizontal and vertical alignment in the “Column” section, set the ‘Width’ value to 48%, and select a white background in the “Fill” section. Drag and drop the Radar Chart element into the Panel. In the Styling Layout section, set the top and bottom Padding values to 20. In the Properties panel, under DataSource, connect the action; configure the Data Label, Data Field, Data Background Color, Second Data Field, Second Data Background Color, Third Data Field, and Data Background Color fields as shown on the screen. In the Legend section, select “Bottom,” set the Level Color, and set the Level Frequency to 10.
When you click the Preview button, you’ll be able to easily analyze performance metrics and product features.
