You can easily test Android applications developed on the Kuika platform through the Appetize platform. Before starting the testing process, you need to have an Appetize account. Below is a step-by-step guide for you to perform the testing process with Appetize. You can follow these steps to avoid any problems.
1. Kuika Configuration Settings
You can edit the configuration settings of the applications you develop in Kuika using the Configuration Manager module. You can make all settings for the testing and publishing processes of your application. Follow the steps below to perform the testing process with Appetize:
You can create a new configuration or edit an existing configuration for the Android application you developed in Kuika.
After logging in to Kuika platform, open the mobile project you will work with from the “Apps” screen.
Then click on the “Configuration Manager” module.
From the screen that opens, give the configuration a name (1) and click the “CREATE” button (2).
Click on the drop-down menu opposite Configuration under the Play Store Settings section.
Click ADD NEW in the drop-down menu to open the information entry screen.
First, enter the Play Store Connect API Setting Name.
Then, select Appetize from the drop-down menu under the Publish Type heading.
Enter Appetize API Token Information:
API Token information is needed to use Appetize.
Log in to your Appetize account to get your API Token information and enter it in the relevant field in Kuika. For more information, you can check our Appetize content.
After completing the information entry, click the CREATE button.
After returning to the previous screen, save the configuration by pressing the SAVE/UPDATE button in the upper right corner.
2. Testing the Application Developed in Kuika with Appetize
In the Kuika interface, click on the Rocket icon in the top menu.
In the drop-down menu, select the configuration setting you want to use.
Check the radio button next to the Android option.
Click the PUBLISH button.
Once the publishing process is complete, a test link to your app will be sent to the email address linked to your Kuika account. Test your app using the Appetize test link sent to your email address.
