After logging into the Kuika platform, open the project you will work on from the “Apps” screen.
While in the “UI Design” module, open the “Properties” panel on the right side.
Select “Initial Actions → String Operations → Substring” from the “+ADD ACTION” drop-down menu.
Then configure the following fields:
Value: Specifies the main text to be operated on. That is, it defines the text to create a substring. It allows you to select a specific subset from this text.
Starting Index: It is the parameter that determines the position where the subtext will start. The value entered in the parameter indicates from which character the sub-text will start. Note that the characters in the text are numbered starting from zero.
Count: This parameter specifies the number of characters to include in the alt text. It allows you to specify the length of the alt text.
