21.10.2026
4.7.0
Attention Points
- Renaming a role on the Roles screen updates it in every project that uses that role at once.
- The SpecificDates and SpecificDatesMode properties of the Date element apply only to Web applications.
- SemVer 2 packages now appear in search and can be added in External Libraries, and the version list is sorted correctly.
- In Micro Apps opened from the Shell, the update notification now closes only with the "Refresh" button.
Critical Updates
- The Custom Connection String Provider template has been removed from C# functions. Preview and export are blocked until Datasources previously created with this template are deleted.
- External Libraries in Custom C# datasources now use the NuGet feeds defined in the nuget.config file on the machine where the platform runs. If no other feed is defined in the file, only nuget.org is used.
- Roles are now managed from one place at workspace level, on the Roles screen in the Settings panel.
- With the new error message setting in Run Settings, users can be shown a generic error message instead of error details for database or backend errors.
Actions to be taken
- Delete Datasources created with the Custom Connection String Provider template so that Preview and export work again.
- Review the roles in your Workspace and the projects that use them on the Settings > Roles screen.
- If you don't want error details shown to end users, set the error message setting in Run Settings to Simple.
- For on-prem installations, define your feeds in the platform's nuget.config file to use your private NuGet repositories.
New Features
UI Design
- With the new "Conditional Styles" section in the Styling panel, you can define an unlimited number of conditional style rules (Layout, Text, Fill, Border, Shadow, Effects) on any element, from a table column to a button. The rules are evaluated row by row based on the element's data, and their priority order can be adjusted.
- The Table element now supports most of its Web features in iOS and Android apps:
- Multi select: With multiSelect, users can select several rows at once. multiSelectScope limits the selection to the rows on the current page (page) or the whole table (all). The color of selected rows can be set with selectedRowColor, and the number of selected rows can be shown with selectedCount. An action can run with onSelectedValuesChange when the selection changes. Selected values (selectedValues) can be given as a fixed value, set with SetValueOf and read elsewhere.
- Pagination: With pagination, records are shown across pages. pageSize sets how many records appear per page, and showSizeChanger lets users change this number themselves. Page number colors can be customized with paginationSelectedTextColor and paginationUnselectedTextColor.
- Appearance: striped shows rows in alternating colors, showRowNumbers adds row numbers and fixedHeader keeps the header in place while scrolling. With tableWidthMode, the table can fit the screen (Fit) or scroll horizontally (Horizontal Scroll). Loading and "no data found" states are supported with loading and showNoDataFound.
- Search, sorting and filtering: Users can search the table with globalSearch, sort by columns with sorter and filter with AND/OR conditions using filtering. With columnChooser, they can choose which columns to show.
- Export to Excel: With export, table data can be exported as an Excel (.xlsx) file and shared directly. The file name can be set with exportFileName and the button color with exportButtonBgColor.
- Adding and editing rows: insertRowActive lets users add new rows to the table, and insertRowPosition sets where the row is added. With editable, rows can be edited inline, saved with ✓ and cancelled with ✕. editableAlwaysActive keeps edit mode always on.
- Column settings: Columns can get a second title with secondTitle, custom title colors with titleBgColor and titleFontColor, and grouping with group. footerOptions shows a total, average, minimum, maximum or record count at the bottom of a column. alwaysVisibleOnMobileResolution keeps a column always visible on mobile screens, and excludeFromExport leaves it out of Excel export.
- With the new SpecificDates and SpecificDatesMode properties of the Date element, specific days from an action (e.g. holidays from the database) or a manually entered list can be made unselectable (Disable) or the only selectable days (Enable) on Web.
- A Multi Select Checkbox Color property has been added to customize the color of the Table element's Multi Select checkboxes per table in Web apps.
- A Navigation Button Color property has been added to the Pagination element to customize the color of navigation buttons such as previous, next, first and last page.
Data Sources
- A SWAGGER_ENABLED environment variable has been added to CoreApi so on-prem customers can disable the Swagger UI during installation.
Report Designer
- With the new Items Per Row property of the Report Table element, records can be listed in a gallery layout in PDF output, side by side and one below the other, with 1 to 6 records per row.
Configuration Manager
- With a new setting in Configuration Manager and the Set Map Provider and Get Map Provider actions, the map provider of the Map element (Google Maps or AMap) can now be set per end user, and API details for both providers can be defined at the same time.
Platform and Platform Interface
- With the new error message setting in Config Manager and Run Settings, you can choose to show users a predefined generic error message (Simple) instead of the details of database or backend errors, or to show the error details (Detailed; this is the default, so existing apps behave the same). Preview uses the selection in Run Settings, while the published app uses the selection in Config Manager. When Simple is selected, backend errors returned with status 500 and above (KException, Exception, etc.) are masked; Exceptions thrown from Custom C# functions are also included. If you want the message of an error thrown in a Custom C# function to appear on screen in Simple mode, use KBadRequestException as the exception type (it returns status 400 and is not masked).
- A Roles screen has been added to the Settings panel so roles can be managed from one place at workspace level, added to or removed from projects, and renamed across all projects at once.
System Actions
- A Cut option has been added to the Copy/Paste menu for actions, so actions can be cut and moved to a different area in a single step.
Improvements
UI Design
- The display of actions or tables with the same name in different Datasources has been improved in Page Init, event actions and element bindings. They now show which Datasource they belong to with a prefix (e.g. [CRM_DB] GetUsers).
- Access to a page's PageInit actions from the Breadcrumb has been improved.
- The Breadcrumb structure has been improved. In addition to switching between screens, you can now also reach elements on the active screen from the breadcrumb.
- Email validation in the Email element has been improved. Addresses without a dot and a domain extension (e.g. 3@3) are now considered invalid.
Datasources
- The messages shown for connection errors when clicking the Test button while adding an SAP datasource have been improved.
- The Custom Connection String Provider template has been removed from C# functions. Datasources previously created with this template still appear in the left panel. However, until these Datasources are deleted, Preview, Publish, Export and Get Source Code will not start, and the Issues panel shows an error message stating that the Datasource is no longer supported and must be deleted.
Report Designer
- The toolbar of the selected element has been improved. Frequently used properties such as text, font size, color and events, as well as style tags and copy, duplicate and delete operations, can now be managed from a single bar.
System Actions
- The visibility of the "#tag" label, which shows the source of action results selected in screen design (e.g. Get From Bag), has been improved.
- The add action menu has been improved. Events can now be selected next to the search box, the description, parameters and return type of actions can be viewed in the preview area, and the menu can be used with the keyboard.
AI
- Improvements have been made to building processes with AI Chatbot Builder.
Bug Fix
UI Design
- The issue where the page name did not appear in the breadcrumb when the header element was selected—and consequently, Page Init actions could not be accessed by clicking on the page name—has been resolved.
- The issue where the OnSelect and OnSearch events of the Multi Select element were not triggered in the web application has been resolved.
- The issue where the final character of text in an italicised Label element was truncated, even though the text fit within the line, has been resolved.
- The issue where the day and month were swapped when selecting date values of 12 or below in the Table element’s date filter has been resolved.
- The issue where numbers entered in a Text Input element with the Input Mode set to "Char’" were saved to the value field even though they were not visible on screen has been resolved.
- The issue where, when the Table element’s Datasource was refreshed, the Selected Values for rows not present in the new Datasource were not cleared and were added to the action parameter in subsequent selections has been resolved.
- The issue where an image defined as the Background Image for a Switch element was displayed in both the True and False states has been resolved.
- In a Switch element within a Table, when a Boolean value was sent via SQL to the Value field, the issue where the Fill colour under Styling was applied in both the True and False states, including on the design screen, has been resolved.
- The issue where, in the onClick action of a RadioButton element, reading the RadioButtonGroup value resulted in the previous selection being passed instead of the current one has been resolved.
- The issue where the day and month values of the selected date were swapped in the date filters of the Table element’s Template Column has been resolved.
- The issue where, in screens using Micro Apps, the page appearing as selected in the menu on the SuperApp Master Screen differed from the page that was actually open has been resolved.
- The error whereby, in Micro Apps opened via the Shell, the old version would still appear even after clicking "Refresh" following deployment, and the update notification would disappear whilst on the Shell screen, has been rectified; as part of this, the notification has been improved to appear as a full-width banner at the very top of the screen, which closes only when "Refresh" is clicked.
- The issue where styles defined in the Text Area element would break when the "Allow Clear" property was enabled has been resolved.
- The issue where, in the Timeline element under ‘Options > Action’, changing an action would fail to clear the links associated with the previous action—and consequently prevent the "Preview" from opening—has been resolved.
- The issue where, in the Calendar element, assigning a date value via "Set Value Of" would fail to navigate the calendar to the relevant date has been resolved.
- The issue where automatically assigned colours in the Pie Chart element would repeat across slices and different colours would appear each time the page was refreshed has been resolved.
- In Android applications, the issue where the positioning of the background image assigned to the Panel element was displayed differently from iOS has been resolved.
- In web applications, the issue where a selection made in the Select Box within the Table element was not visible in the box, and an empty or incorrect value was passed to the Button action in the row, has been resolved.
- In Table elements with a Fixed Header and fixed columns, the issue where changes to column widths were not applied without refreshing the page has been resolved.
- The issue where, when searching in the Workspace selection area and the Screens, Item Tree and Sources panels, the list would remain scrolled to an empty area and the results would not be visible has been resolved.
- In web applications, during validations where the "Ignore If Not Visible" option is enabled, the issue where button actions would execute with a delay of approximately 2 seconds for each hidden field when the field was not visible on screen has been resolved.
- The issue where, in the Workspace selection list, the Screens, Item Tree and Sources panels, and the table column tree, the list would remain at its previous scroll position and appear empty when the selected row disappeared following a search or filtering operation has been resolved.
Data Sources
- The issue where, when logging in with a username and password via the C# Custom Authentication Provider, the FirstName and LastName fields returned by the Provider were not transferred to the KUser record has been resolved.
- In the SQL editor, for Stored Procedures called by schema name, the issue where the schema name was interpreted as a table alias and caused an incorrect “Unknown table alias” error has been resolved.
- The issue where column headers were not displayed in the Result tab of the SQL editor when a Stored Procedure or SQL query returned no records has been resolved.
Process Automation
- The issue where the "Edit SQL Action’"option only worked on first use and the SQL editor did not open on subsequent attempts has been resolved.
- The issue where the suggestion to create a start screen after "Apply Screens" was not displayed for processes with input parameters that were not initiated from anywhere has been resolved.
Report Designer
- The issue where tooltips in the context menu opened for elements were unreadable has been resolved.
- The issue where a preview could not be obtained when using a custom C# data source in report tables has been resolved.
- The issue where the "Greater" and "Greater than or Equal to" operators produced incorrect results for decimal values within Visibility Conditions has been resolved.
- The issue where the Image element within a Report Table failed to display dynamic images from the data source in the PDF output has been resolved.
- The issue where copied and pasted Static Tables could not be managed independently of one another, and where alignment settings in the design were not preserved in the PDF output, has been resolved.
- The issue where elements that carried over to the next page when the Report Table extended were hidden beneath the Page Header has been resolved.
API Builder
- Issues where, for methods where the "Payload As" value was set to "List of Objects", method inputs were recognised as deleted parameters during the Preview, and the backend code could not be compiled due to inputs linked to actions, have been resolved.
Configuration Manager
- The issue where crash logs relating to the Iyzico and Param payment screens were being sent to Firebase in Android applications not using the payment action has been resolved.
System Actions
- The issue where the "CurrentRow" value was not carried over when actions with "CurrentRow" as a parameter were copied has been resolved.
- The issue where, following certain operations in which the screen is updated by the system (such as saving a translation or creating a screen via the wizard, etc.), an update or deletion performed on one condition within a set of conditions containing multiple conditions would be applied to a different condition has been resolved.
- The issue where, in a Navigate action configured as a Drawer, changing the Width Type value caused the selection to switch to the drawer object created in the background rather than the current element has been resolved.
- The issue where a build error occurred when HEX colour values from the database were dynamically assigned to the Colour fields in a Custom-type Notify action has been resolved.
Platform and Platform Interface
- The issue where the warning message displayed when an invalid project name was entered whilst creating a new project on the Apps screen was not fully visible and caused a horizontal scroll bar to appear has been resolved.
