Notify Actions Settings

Notify Actions is a setting that allows you to manage email notifications or other types of alerts with specific durations in your application. By configuring this setting in the Kuika Configuration Manager module, you can specify the time and configuration of each type of notification to be shown on the screen.

How to Set Notify Actions Settings?

1. Add Configuration to Application

  • Log in to the Kuika platform.
  • Open the project you will work on from the Apps screen.
  • Click on the Configuration Manager module.
  • On the screen that opens, give the configuration a name and click CREATE.

2. Configure Notify Actions Settings

  • After creating a new configuration, open the App Settings screen.
  • Go to the Notify Actions section.
  • Click on the Default drop-down menu.
  • Select ADD NEW from the drop-down menu.
  • In the pop-up window that opens, configure the following settings:
    • Name: Name to be given to the notification setting (e.g. title or type to be shown when the user action is successful).
    • Default Duration: The default duration for notifications to remain on the screen.
    • Success Duration: Duration of notifications to be shown after successfully completed operations.
    • Info Duration: The duration of notifications to inform the user.
    • Warning Duration: Determines how long warning messages will be displayed on the screen.
    • Error Duration: Determines how long error messages remain on the screen.

3. Test Settings

  • Click on the three dots next to the Preview button at the top of the application.
  • Click the RUN button from the pop-up menu.
  • Once the process is complete, test whether the notifications appear and disappear at the set times.
