1. Log in to the Kuika platform.
2. Select the project you want to work on from the Apps screen.
3. Go to the UI Design module.
4. Select an element (e.g., a button or page opening) that will trigger the online user list.

5. Select the button and add the Authorisation > Get Online Users action from the + ADD ACTION menu according to the desired trigger event (Initial Actions, OnClick, OnBlur, etc.).

In an administrator application, there is a screen titled ‘View Active Users.’ The administrator wants to see who is currently active in the system. This information is used to analyse system load and take user-specific action (e.g., send notifications) when necessary.

Application Flow:

• Element: ‘Get Active Users’ button
• Trigger: OnClick
• Action: Authorisation → Get Online Users
• Display of Results: The user data is displayed in a table.

Results returned by the actions:

• User Name
• Email
• Session Start Time
• IP Address (if available)
• Status (Online)

• Automatic Refresh: The action can be triggered at specified intervals to display an up-to-date list with real-time data.
• Notification Integration: After the active user list is retrieved, information can be sent to specific users via Send Push Notification.

Technical Risks and Controls

• Data Delay: Online user information may not be instantaneous; delays of a few seconds may occur depending on system load.
• Authorisation Restriction: It is recommended that this action be available only to specific roles (e.g. Admin).
• Excessive Refresh: The server may be overloaded when the page is opened or triggered too often. It is recommended to run it with a timer control. Recurring Actions can be used for this purpose.

The Get Online Users action is a powerful tool for viewing and analysing active users within the application. Real-time user information provides administrators with insights into system load while also enabling them to analyse user interactions and take necessary actions.
