A subprocess is a workflow that contains a specific set of tasks or actions, formed by breaking a main business process into smaller, independently processable parts. In the Kuika Process Automation module, subprocesses are used to make complex processes more manageable and efficient. Sub-workflows can be defined and executed independently while working as a part of the main process, so that processes can be organized in a modular structure.
Sub-workflows can run in their own loops without affecting the overall flow of the main process, but contribute to broader business outcomes by exchanging data with the main process when necessary. For example, in a customer order process, sub-workflows such as inventory control, payment processing and logistics can be created. These sub-workflows speed up the process by focusing on related tasks and allow the main process to be managed more easily. This provides flexibility and scalability in business processes, increases performance and shortens the time to achieve business goals. Sub-workflows contribute to the dynamic and effective management of processes.
