In the Process Automation module of the Kuika platform, a Parallel Gateway is a structure that allows multiple tasks or processes to be executed simultaneously in the process flow. This gateway allows multiple paths to be opened simultaneously in a process and for all these paths to proceed independently. This allows processes to be completed more quickly and efficiently.
Parallel gateways help manage complex workflows in a simpler way. For example, in a project process, when two separate processes need to be executed simultaneously, such as document approval and budget control, these tasks can be initiated through a parallel gateway. While each task runs on its own independent timeline, all tasks are expected to be completed at the end of the process. It enables more effective use of resources and improves overall process performance. Furthermore, due to the flexibility and responsiveness of the processes, waiting times are minimized and workflows become more fluid.
