Gateway (Branching Point) is an important component in the flow of a business process that serves as a decision-making or change of direction. In the Kuika Process Automation module, a gateway is defined as a structure that directs the flow in the process and creates branches according to certain conditions. At this point, the direction in which the process continues depends on whether a certain condition is met or an event occurs. With different types of gateways (e.g. Exclusive Gateway, Parallel Gateway), processes can handle different scenarios, allowing for a more flexible and dynamic workflow. The gateway plays a critical role in managing the complexity of the processes and enabling the process to move forward more effectively.
