Param Payment Pay None Secure enables you to quickly and directly complete payment transactions without using the 3D Secure protocol through Kuika's Param integration. In this action, no additional security verification screen is displayed during payment; payment is processed immediately based on the card details and other parameters entered by the user.

Param Payment Pay None Secure Action Application Steps

  1. Log in to the Kuika platform and open the project you are working on.
  2. Go to the UI Design module and open the screen where the payment will be made.
  3. Add the payment trigger element (e.g., ‘Quick Payment’ button).
  1. Open the + ADD ACTION menu from the Properties panel on the right.
  2. Select the button and add the Payment> Param > Param Payment Pay None Secure action from the + ADD ACTION menu according to the desired trigger event (Initial Actions, OnClick, OnBlur, etc.).
  3. Fill in the following fields in the settings that appear:
  • Name Surname: The first and last name of the person making the payment.
  • Phone Number: The phone number of the person making the payment.
  • Credit Card No: Credit card number.
  • Credit Card Month: The month the card expires.
  • Credit Card Year: The year the card expires.
  • Credit Card CVC: The security code on the back of the card.
  • Order ID: The unique ID number of the order.
  • Order Description: Order description (optional).
  • Installments: Number of payment installments.
  • Order Amount: Total amount of the order.
  • Total Amount: Total amount to be paid (including taxes and additional fees).
  1. You can dynamically link these parameters from form inputs, previous actions, or fixed values with Symbol Picker.

Usage Scenario: Fast Payment Process with Param Payment Pay None Secure on an E-Commerce Site

On an e-commerce platform, the goal is for users to complete their purchases quickly and easily. Especially for low-value or frequent purchases, it is desired to receive payment directly without 3D Secure verification. For this purpose, the Param Payment Pay None Secure action is preferred.

Scenario Flow

  1. Product Selection and Add to Cart: The user selects the desired products in the store and adds them to the shopping cart.
  2. Proceed to Payment Screen: After confirming the cart, the user is redirected to the payment page.
  3. Enter Card Details: On the payment screen, the user enters the required credit card details:
    • Card number
    • Expiration month and year
    • Security code (CVC)
    • Cardholder's first and last name
    • Phone number
  4. Preparing Order Details:The system calculates the total amount of the products in the user's cart and any available instalment options. A unique Order ID is also assigned to the order.
  5. Clicking the Payment Button: The user clicks the ‘Quick Payment’ button and the payment process begins.
  6. Execution of the Payment Process:
    • The Param Payment Pay None Secure action is triggered, and the payment request is sent to the Param system using the card details directly without 3D Secure verification.
    • The payment request is processed, and the system returns an approval or rejection result.
  7. Communicating Results to the User:
    • If the payment is successful, the user is shown a payment confirmation and order details.
    • If the payment is declined, the user is shown an error message and redirected to try again.
  8. Order Tracking and Management: After a successful payment, the system records the order and initiates the shipping process. The order status is updated in the user's account.

Param Payment Pay None Secure Action Advanced Customisations

  • Dynamic Parameter Management: Action parameters (card details, order amount, number of instalments, etc.) can be dynamically populated from form elements, previous action results, or fixed values. This allows a single action to be used for different payment scenarios.
  • Multiple Payment Scenarios: Installments (number of installments) and Order Description fields can be dynamically assigned for different product groups or customer segments. For example, special installment options can be offered to VIP customers.
  • Automatic Actions After Successful Payment: After payment is completed,
    • Send a confirmation email or SMS to the user,
    • Update the order status,
    • Deduct from stock,
    • Update user role or subscription status, and other actions can be triggered.
  • Error Management and Retry Mechanism: When a payment is declined, custom error messages can be displayed to inform the user and redirect them to retry the payment. Optionally, a certain number of automatic retries can be performed.
  • Payment Transaction Records and Logging: All payment attempts are logged in detail for later traceability and reporting. Keeping records is especially important for disputes and refunds.
  • Multiple Currency and Foreign Exchange Support: If transactions can be made in different currencies, the Order Amount and Total Amount fields can be dynamically updated with the appropriate exchange rate.
  • Post-Payment Redirection: After the payment is completed, the user can be automatically redirected to a special thank you page, survey form, or another screen.

The Param Payment Pay None Secure action enables you to perform fast and unverified payment transactions in Kuika projects. In cases where 3D Secure verification is not available, it speeds up the user experience but should be used with caution in terms of security and transaction tracking.
