Getting Started with Bluetooth Actions

By integrating Bluetooth actions into the applications you develop on the Kuika platform, you can dynamically manage your application's interaction with Bluetooth devices and enrich the user experience. Thanks to these actions, you can perform operations such as connecting between devices, transferring data or checking device information quickly and reliably. Especially in applications based on IoT devices or wireless technologies, these actions enable seamless connectivity between devices and optimize the performance of the application. In projects with complex device interactions, Bluetooth actions are ideal for managing communication in an efficient and user-friendly way.

The Bluetooth system actions available on the Kuika platform are as follows:

  • Scan Devices: Scans the surrounding Bluetooth devices and displays a list of available devices.
  • Saved Device Available: Checks if a previously saved Bluetooth device is available.
  • Is Connected: Checks whether a specific Bluetooth device is actively connected.
  • Forgot Device: Removes a previously paired Bluetooth device from the connection history by forgetting it.
  • Disconnect: Disconnects the currently connected Bluetooth device.
  • Connect Bluetooth: Establishes a connection with a specified Bluetooth device.
  • Bluetooth Permission Is Given: Checks whether the app has been granted Bluetooth access permission by the user.
  • Bluetooth Is Open: Checks if the Bluetooth feature of the device is active.
